All About Me:
I'm a mother of 3 boys. I've been a Lab Tech for 17 yrs and have worked in the same hospital for 16 of those years. Just so happens to be the same hospital I was born in . CRAZY! I married the person I've been best friends with since preschool. We recently relocated to Colorado from Washington for my husband’s job, so we've been adjusting at this point.
When did you start your fitness journey?
I started my fitness journey I'd say in 2012 but my heart wasn't really in it, so it was a roller coaster for sure . I got super serious about it in 2013 when I met a gal near me and we started walking daily with our kids. She got me back into running big time. I've always been a home gym kid of gal, so I do Hiitmamas as well as Brenda Vance workouts via Facebook. Anything I can get my hands on and can do at home is fair game.
What inspires you to Move More and Do More?
My family first inspires me. I want them to be active and see that being fit can be fun. I also love the fit family I've grown to love. It's so awesome when someone says you inspired them to go for a walk today . That's my whole goal after all.

My favorite workout is running, of course, and crazy stairs. I post a ton of those on my page.
Words of Wisdom from Misti:
Honestly you can do anything you put your mind to. I didn't have weights at first and loaded up a backpack with canned food. I even purchased an old tire tube from Les Schwabs and filled it with sand . I want to be able to offer simple ideas for those who can't afford a gym or don't like gyms. I want to be their cheerleader rooting them on. Anything is possible and you are never in this alone.
