Tell us about yourself :
I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. I am an identical twin and have an older sister. We are all extremely close and make a healthy lifestyle a priority. I have a Bachelors degree in psychology, a Masters degree in mental health counseling and am pursuing more education in the medical field. My spare time is spent with my family and my boyfriend doing any and all outdoor activities.
When did you start your fitness journey?
I danced for 13 years, played tennis, and cheered for our local football team growing up. In high school I danced in our high school dance team, played varsity tennis and ran cross country. I've always worked out and have been active my entire life but slowed down my activities when I attended college. During that time I also gained over 50 lbs. from decreased activity and poor eating habits. Three years ago I decided to restart my fitness journey and get back into shape. I now am able to workout longer, harder and faster after I have lost the 50 lbs and gained strength and endurance.
What inspires you to Move More and Do More?
My health and future inspires me to do more and move more. I see the consequences of neglecting your health daily and I do not want to become someone who isn't able to live life to the fullest. I am also a big advocate on working out for the sake of positive mental health. So I believe that fitness is a mind and body conditioning to live a longer happier life.
What is your favorite Workout?
It is very hard to single out a favorite workout so the list of workouts I love to do is weight training, swimming, running, biking, calisthenics, yoga, and tennis.
